Solent Sky Museum have revealed that their Supermarine Scimitar has been digitally scanned. This can only mean that somebody is going to release a kit of it

My money is on Airfix. It fits their range of British jets, there are no decent injection kits out there in any scale, and I've been asking Airfix for one for years  ;D

Gondor

Oh I so hope so. Would put a crimp in one or two people on a certain auction site asking £120 for an Xtrakit copy

Is your impression that the Xtrakit is so bad? Just curious..

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

The Wooksta!

It probably will be 48th, as it's one of the few British front line fighter or strike types they haven't got in 48th in one form or another.  Fills a gap.

I have yet to hear a glowing review of the Xtrakit Scimitar.

1/48 and 1/72. Might as well do both while they're at it

Also the scale they sell the most in as well I bet.

Maybe a 1:1 scale for a restoration (yes I know it won't happen)

and 1/72 is always the correct answer.....

I've got two of the Skybirds86 Scimitars, but a 1/72 main stream one would be much more Whiffable.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Don't listen to them, Nick! Just because they're in the majority doesn't make them right!

Now THAT is a true Gentleman.  Being smaller does not make something more "Gentlemanly".
So I got that going for me...which is nice....
