I had seen and been very interested by this Freedom kit of egg F-104 single and twin-seater:

while... I thought it is too big for my shelves and did not order it.
As you, zenrat, have it physically (great! ), could you measure and tell us the length of the fuselage?
If not too big, I may buy a copy and build a 3-seat asymmetric zwilling (as I did with the similar Freedom F-16 egg)...

The photo was taken by an old friend of mine at an airshow in the States a few years ago. It is actually a heavily reworked crew bus !

Tophe, I got out the Freedom Models F104 Eggplane double kit......and measured the two seater for you.

When the nose come and horizontal stabilisers are added it will be about 100mm long.  The single seater will be slightly shorter.

(At first, seeing the picture, I feared this was 10 inches, but 10 cm is perfect)
