What's ironic is that Banks' Culture was a post-scarcity utopia, with no money or status... yet two of the world's richest have glomed on to his work - Jeff "Bellend" Bezos wanted to film "Consider Phlebas" until the Banks estate reconsidered and said no. Musk read one of the books, liked it, then started naming barges after Culture ships. Both are similar to Joiler Veppers, an evil, amoral billionaire on a non-Culture planet that meets a bad end.

Theres only one thong jeff bezos can do and thats F off..the only question is how far.
Its shows how far behind the walking dead i am ..i didnt know they did that ..ive got to get the entire series off my mate T and watch em again ..right ro the end and Buzzy is excess of weapons ia a good thing and to think the frist chopper was going to be a Bell 47 ..no real ability to carry a lot of bang bangs so going with the huey is much better.
As for the firepower the kit was ment to carry rocket pods and a 40mm grenade launcher mounted on the nose with the ammo drum in the rear..im not going to mount that cause this was a civilian bird so the weapons mounts are all home made .
Weapons are as follows ..2 x M3 50 cals..2 x MK19 40mm grenade launchers and a couple of M4s for the crew.
Not a crazy amount but enough to thin any heard of the dead and anything else which trys to annoy Peterson .

Yeah all good Narses mate ...alot of them aint worth talking about anyway and with that back to wiffy world  which is far more interesting anyway .
Ok update time ..been working on the trailer deck and its folding sides..as you can imagine making the sides was pretty easy but the hinges where a pain in the sit down  area but with a few cups of coffee and a dozen cigarettes a idea came into the empty space between my ears and now i have a deck with 2 folding sides and ive also built a trolley for the huey to land on so the bird can be moved backward for take off and forwards for a better position on the trailer for transportation and maintenance but the trolley is annoying me at the mo..its to high and ive gotta lower it alot and put guide plates on the sides to help the skids slide into the guides ..then theres a heap of tie down points to make and the hydraulic rams for the sides.
Luckily the wheels have a  inboard braking system so coming up with the brake lines is easy and so will be feeding the hydraulic lines for the rams .
I dont want it to be to busy under the trailer ..simple is easy and easy is easy to repair .
There will be pics in a few days as it seems we gonna get hit by a cyclone here this weekend thanks to our wonderful neighbours

The chopper pad has been ripped apart and rebuilt..as you guys can see in earlier pics the bird sat far to high so its been lowered alot and an old truck deck  has been stuffed on top ,,its wider than the original one and has tie down points as well..the idea of having guides for the choppers skids to slide into when the bird lands was to much of a problem,,its was so close that the pilot would have had a right bugger of a time landing so that idea went bye bye .

Thats all for now cause theres no more to show  ...there is of course a heap more to follow as the building aint even done yet let alone the painting which will be a monster of a job ,,still trying to sort out the colours in my head but i will .

That's some amazing scratchbuilding! The working platform sides look great. What did you use for the red hydraulic lines - just copper wire?

Hey ya Frank  ..and yup..just copper wire..ive got a huge selection of it..from .2mm to 1.3mm thick ..ya just never know what ya might need it for 🤘😁
