Quote from: zenrat on September 06, 2022, 03:51:13 AMThanks Rick.  One of my favourites which up until now I have resisted buying for some reason.  Maybe it's time...

I remember seeing a hard top conversion, couldn't find it but found a different one which is all but identical:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

AeroplaneDriver

Not much activity from me lately unfortunately but I did pick up a lovely Airfix 1/72 Spitfire F.22.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

DogfighterZen

Received this today... bough online last Saturday night at a Portuguese modelling store, mainly because of the Python missiles, but also because of the build options it opens with the other 4 (5 if you count the Skunkworks XL) Kinetic 1/48 F-16 kits i have in my stash.

If you were after the Python missiles you could get them in these

Took me a little time to find them but I do have a set or two of theirs.

Quote from: The Wooksta! on September 02, 2022, 07:27:14 AMI'm sure I have a decal sheet somewhere with similar Mustangs on it, although I'd planned on either an MB-5 or CA15 as the recipient.

There was a 1/72 Xtradecal RAF Mustangs sheet Wooksta.

Wasn't Xtradecal, I know that. Some limited run cottage industry type.

I know about those weapon sets, i have one in 1/72 but none in 1/48. I also wanted another 1/48 Viper kit anyway so, this kit had all i wanted and was on sale at only 42€ with free shipping, normal price was 60€.
From those sets i'll only really use the Pythons and the Kinetic F-16 kits come with a lot of weapons so no waste there. Mind you, i'm also going to buy one of the 1/48 IDF weapons sets soon but i couldn't let this kit get away.
I'll be swapping some parts of my Kinetic 1/48 Viper kits so i have a plan for this kit and the Pythons will be used on the Wingman 1/48 South American Kfir.

The Wooksta!

Several sheets of plastic card for mould making.  Did some tidying on the P.1067 fuselage.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

What Fred said. ^^^

That looks wonderful, and dare I say it, even better than the original Monkeemobile.........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Call me odd, but I think it's quite ugly, but then what do I know about cars  ;)

PR19_Kit

Everyone is allowed their own opinion on such matters, and there are no rules.

Well, usually anyway.........  ;D
