Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I love getting old mags - to the point where I'm now having to have a big cull... still, I will copy the stuff I want and get them off to be someone else's problem enjoyed and treasured by someone else.
Surprisingly, some of the old school conversions are still the only way to get some of the subjects... and I'm talking 60s and 70s articles...

Those both sound like a pretty sweet units, fella - though I'm thankful I wasn't able to get anything along those lines back in my Young and Stupid Days, as I might not be here now...

Yeah, those were the days, but the old iron is like rocking horse poop now... and priced accordingly.

I can't seem to get any further than the front page for Stokers, but that's ok - I've bought from Acorn before and was happy with their service, so they got my money again.
And the item will probably be the same price at Stokers, anyway.

Yeah Stockers website is a pain but your in with some luck there mate..James and Colin (the owners son) know me very well and they're always up for a deal so ya never know mate
Oh theres still a heap of mags there and i fully intend to relieve them of some more..hell for a buck each matey im in  ;D and your bang on there to Rick..theres some wickedly good articles in those mags and a few of the ones i got have some really cool things in em ..it that reason that my Tamiya Cent is not going to be a ARV now..its going a different route.

Yes i still miss the days of putting 302 windors into Capris and a MK5 cortina and i still miss my old turbo MK1 escort but a guy killed himself in that car..i told him when he brought it to be careful and yeah..the prices today are nuts..way out of my world now..oh well..fond memories  <_<

Had a junky XW Falcon at one time, with a 221 and manual 3-on-the-tree, and another time a not-too-much-better VF Valiant, 225 with Torqueflite.
Both were fun, but expensive for a young fella to run, so I went back to 4-pots.

It didn't take long for the dreaded and annoying Thread Drift to crop up, did it?  ;D

But the Special Hobby Spitfire Mk.22 hasn't arrived yet and the Reskit missiles are still in the Portuguese customs and i haven't had any notification from them yet so i sent an email today... :banghead:
Also ended up ordering a couple more, from a Dutch seller on ebay, a Bilek 1/72 Su-17 Fitter H and from a Portuguese seller on Facebook marketplace i scored a cheap Revellogram F-82G.

With all this unauthorised military hardware you're importing into Portugal, your Customs officers are probably worried you're about to kick-off an armed insurrection. ;)

.

That is a lovely kit!
I built one when in my late teens, and I still have it, in its Argentine markings. Many, many years later, I got the Airfix one for the Aeronavale, and that is so much worse!

Yes, indeed it is, Pellson. I've had the Heller kit for some time but, although it's not awful, it doesn't come close to this kit. I'd been looking for an academy kit for ages and never could find one at a reasonable price. Finally found this one in the Italeri box.
There are 3 molds that i know of in 1/72 scale, the Airfix, Heller and Academy/Minicraft and the latter is the best without a doubt.

The Academy Sue is a nice kit, I built one many moons ago. Quite thick side walls, but it goes together well.

Second that.  I still have the Exocet somewhere.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
