Nice haul

I'd actually forgotten Airfix had done a Starfighter. Glad to see it was made in England ;)

VERY nice!

Eagles Talon made very good vacforms, so I doubt you'll rue the $1 spent on the Fireball.

Good score mate.
One i'm jealous about is the S6b.
Thats a huge box for a 1/72 Fokker Triplane.

I can get my hands on a 1/72 Ark Models S.6B for cheap and have it sent to you?

If that's a re-popped FROG kit, it's a better model than the Airfix S6B anyway.

Only reason why that kit popped up on my radar, is that someone attempted to troll it's post because it is a Russian made kit with Cyrillic letters on it. I let my Moderator Mode take over and shut him down, and I'm not even a Mod in that group, lol!

The Wooksta!

Some years back I got a russian boxed Frog S6B, only to find one fuselage half.  Was only a quid so it didn't matter.  Year or so later, I snagged an Eastern Express boxed one for £2 in the Kit Swap at Telford.

I'm planning on using the wings from a Supermarine 224 with the S6B fuselage at some point.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

A REAL prototype no less.  ;D

This arrived in the post today from the far North :-

It's Lost Cosmonaut's newest production, the Barnes Wallis Swallow in 1/144 scale, and you can tell I'm the one who got to built it as it has some of THE longest wings ever! This is the first one off the line and I'll be doing the test built and reporting to Aistair, warts and all.

Excellent! Glad it got there ok in the end (and that the nose and those thin bits on the forward section around the wheel bays survived intact*, I had worries about them surviving)

Happy building!

* Edit: dagnabbit! I now see one has snapped. Sorry about that*

Oh now that looks like a very nice kit and sleek seems a understatement  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .

NARSES2

Bigger box than expected arrived from the Big H this morning.

Hobby 2000 (ex Fujimi) 1/72 Nakajima J1N1-S "Gekko" early. Looks to be a simple build, touch wood, and the transfers are by Cartograph, so no problems there.

Tucked inside were some Eduard mask and zoom etch sets and a Quickboost seat for an Airfix Mosquito and a Revell Hunter.

From eBay

1 x 1/72 Hasegawa F-4S Phantom II KA2 boxing. To become an RAF F-4J by crosskitting the outer wing panels with spares in an RF-4EJ kit.
