Revell 1/144 Concorde

I got one of them too, from my LHS.

I went in there for a new cutting mat (I cut the old one in half....:() and the Concorde, AND an Airfix Tempest V, hurled themselves off the shelves and into my shopping bag, honest............  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Courtesy of Mr TSRJoe a splendid box of bits arrived with a couple of Vulcans, Victor and enticingly a 1/87 Bedford RL and Bluewater missile as reference material for my own 1/72 efforts

My condolences on receiving a Matchbox Victor. The fit is so vile, the Mach Two Valiant is a more enticing proposition...

Fortunately I already have the Revell one in my stash so I didn't have dreams to dash. I'm happy with something to chop about and experiment on

I might go a couple of steps further and print a new fuselage to do the supersonic development

Must admit I'm sorely tempted
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

A £2" bag of bits"  from a Hereford charity shop.  I think I can manage  two 1/72 Churchill tanks (to be assembled as Percy Hobart's Funnies) and enough other odds and ends to do a couple of creative things to AFV bits in the scrap box.

Aaaand I just realised that I screwed up: the Cobras already have Montex masks, and I have six Gnats, not four... :banghead:

The fuselage isn't the issue,. The tail cone and airbrake is appalling and the fit of the outer wing to the inner is vile too.
