I've been asking myself that question for some years...............  :-\
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Also bought a lot of decal sheets, as Hannants had kamikazed the price on Modeldecal sheets, so I nabbed various sheets. Upon looking at one I'd bought a single, I noticed a nice marking for 72 sqn and rushed off to get another.
I did manage to get the Freightdog sheet I was after plus a pair of Modeldecal no57 for the Sea Hawk markings.
Spent some monies on tools and I grabbed a few of the yellow top bottles of Xtracrylix.

This year's joker was a pair of Japanese 87th scale Jaguar XKs. Very nice little things.

The final thing bought was a Pegasus Arsenal VG.33 for Uncle Frank.

The one thing I couldn't find, despite much searching, was an Airfix or Matchbox Fiat G91. Then I found one on Uncle Albert's jumble sale. At 16 notes. I had some advice regarding sex, travel and his mother and left it where it was.
