Devilfish

To combat rebels in the Malayan conflict, the RAF sent out a contingent of aircraft.  The Tempest was to have been supplemented with the Mosquito, but the wooden construction didn't fare too well in the humid conditions, so an alternative was sought.  Fairey arranged to license build the Grumman Tigercat, with a few modifications, which served with distinction....

Twin engine's..British camo..rockets..all nails hit ..beautiful build ..love it Paul..the Tigercat always looked boring in blue..now it looks the way it should.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Ohh I like that!  ;D Trouble is I end up suffering from "idea overload" with seeing all these great builds from others!

Fantastic - that looks great! Nice weathering as well. Just a question: what are the two small yellow bombs?

I was planning on doing it FAA, but I saw 2 or 3 on FB, so went another way...

I did the old Monogram one in BPF markings, never thought of post War
