It's all fine until Hangar Cat starts sharpening his claws on the aircraft. That linen and wood won't last long long under a sustained assault!

KiwiZac

A lot of people online expressed dismay when I first posted that, but I get the feeling he wouldn't be up there if the owner wasn't satisfied claws would be kept to themselves!

Very true Zac he looks quite content, but hopefully he's not declawed ? Very cruel thing to do
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Oh no, I believe he's intact in that department. I just mean he seems well-behaved enough to be trusted. He's been up for a few flights...but only in the closed-cabin aircraft, I believe!!

As long as he wasn't in the cockpit ? That could get interesting !  :-X

Oh yes, he's been flying in club aircraft like the Cessnas and Piper Tomahawk several times and is very well-behaved.

Of course, he's surveying his new Domain... including that outside the cockpit...  ;D

I'm afraid I'm very much a dog person, never really totally trusted cats, even those I've owned - or at least fed  ;D

Old Wombat

One never "owns" a cat, they merely deign to allow you to bask in their presence for as long as it suits them. ;D

Since we moved back to Whanganui in 2017 the club's had three resident cats: Merlin (who I believe was adopted by a visiting pilot), Sherman (who was also rehomed) and Hangar, who is something of a local celebrity:

What a treat ! Great pics. Nice to see a Canadian in there as well. And just like climbing the tallest tree in town, once you're up there you have to say " hey, I can see my house ! "

Nice and handy for the beach Zac!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
