I've located some spare A-10 shark mouth decals I'll try and it could end Mako if they work out. I put decals on the Apache version and it's looking pretty good.

Cant wait to see the final results Kerick mate  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Here's some photos of the Hammerhead attack helicopter sometime in July 1944. All the markings are completely fictitious as I was using mostly scraps from the decal junk pile. The shark mouth is from the P-40 kits the engines and wings came from.

The yellow stripe on the wings is a carry over from the A-36 Apaches. I had the stripe so I thought I'd use it here.
I might add a couple more decals and of course the weapons. Then dullcoat and a little weathering.

That Sharkmouth works REALLY well there. Magic stuff.

Looks great!

Reminds me of a helicopter from a Nintendo 64 game I used to play way back around 1997, wish I could remember what it was called so you could see what I'm on about (and if my memory is recalling correctly )

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

It did but not quite as early/late as 4am

Game is simply called Chopper Attack, and this model actually looks like a mix of two (or even a few more) of the helicopters in the game, Wasp and Hard Bull.

Not easy to find any decent screenshots and I have not had the game or a 64 for a long time so cannot take any myself but hopefully these will be of some use...

Interesting! Game designers have amazing imaginations.

Nearly as amazing as us on here............  ;) ;D

Buy we actually BUILD them, they only virtually build them, not quite the same thing.

If model kit manufacturers would start producing kits of stuff from games this hobby might start attracting younger folks. Just look at all the Gundam stuff.

They can, the problem is licencing costs; gaming (distribution) companies are renown for being mercenary in the extreme &, apart from burning developers & sucking them dry, they demand extortionate fees to produce their Trade Marked/Copyright Registered products.

Toy manufacturers, where massive numbers can be produced extremely cheaply, can absorb those fees across the numbers of units built. Most model manufacturers, even the big ones, don't manufacture enough of any given kit in a run to do that; so they don't.

You'd have to convince games companies that there's a good reason for them to reduce their licencing fees so someone else can profit from their product.

Pushing a BIG rock up a STEEP hill with that one!

I guess we're stuck with Gundam and StarWars for the youngsters.
