Fleet Air Arm Buccaneer assigned to operation Saladin

Both RAF and FAA aircraft  took part on rotational  operations  during operation Saladin.  Aircraft  were flown in to the command air base and repainted and modified  to carry  U.S supplied  weapons  and equipment.  This Buccaneer is  loaded  out for destroying  Soviet built  SAM installations  belonging  to the communist  backed militia,  that are  trying to take control of  the Uranium mines.
Kit is the  Airfix  1_72nd scale S2 with AGM-45 and AGM-12C missiles .

Thanks for  the comments,  glad you  like it. I  thought it  might make people  look twice seeing it in desert camouflage  and in FAA markings,  as well as armed with U.S supplied weapons.
All three of these  have been finished  since last summer,  the Internet  problem  and my long term ill health  have stalled  posting them.
