Last month, in my P-51 drawing topic (https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=4461.2790 ), I considered building in plastic mixes of P-38 & P-51 (2 of them, not chosen yet) :

I consider building 2 of these 3 mixes P-38/P-51, scale 1/144, from Mini Hobby Models, China <_<

I ordered soon the kits in China by Internet, hoping to receive them for French fathers' day on June 19th but, incredibly, I received them today, less than 2 weeks after. I may make a picture of the 4 boxes, as soon as I have again my digital camera, that my wife borrowed.
Maybe building will be starting on June 19th only, though, to respect the tradition justifying my money expense, sorry (for the poor family in law that we help but not with fully 100.0% of what I have).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I could see these in air racing paint designs!

Interesting, veeeeery interesting.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Tophe

Thanks to all three. <_<

Here are the related remaining parts, that may be used to create other plane(s?): <_<

Here are the planes that would be the simplest from each set of remaining parts: <_<

You mount a engine of the one in the middle mate and you would like a serious looking racer   ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Tophe

Thanks!

Instead of building 2 of the 3 above with remaining parts (from 2 among the 3 presented first), I could build 1 of the 3 below (with related remaining parts): <_<

I've got the camera, so here are the 4 boxes and their contents: <_<

The last two could be suitable for carrier operations, keeping the prop away from the island.  #2 for most carriers, with #3 for those rare carriers with the island to port.

Thanks! ;)
It is amazing that someone finds some use from my pieces of delirium... ;D

Here is the first possibility of building (AB, later I will show AC and BC)

That"s good news in any direction, no special priority ;)
Triple-engined fighters do not belong to what-if crazy dreams only, I have seen one on Secret Projects a few years ago, if I remember well. But not easy to find it again. I am almost sure I made a fake from it, but I don't remember if the source had a single fuselage and I made a zwilling with 5 or 6 engines, or if it was already a twin-boomer and I made a 4-engined derivative.

With Google, maybe I have found it: IMAM Ro.67 at https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/threads/italian-secret-projects.10956/
EDIT: the SecretProjects.co.uk corresponding source is https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/threads/italian-projects-of-wwii.1339/
