Thanks to be inspired, while I cannot follow your way: as a pacifist, I fail to imagine what would be a civilian flying bomb... to spread flower perfume in open fields? ;)
or pesticide in mosquito infested areas?
But today is Saturday 18th, we are close to start these models, just one day remaining... <_<

Here we are: today in France is Fathers' day and I am a happy father, opening the bags of parts ready to start: <_<

In both P-38 & P-51 kits (in 2 copies) there are spinners with blades and without blades. Usually I would have chosen with blades but my wife said many were destroyed when we changed floor and she moved the finished models, so I think I will use without blades this time.Less aeronautic but more solid and still aerodynamic objects all right. <_<

That design is too good not to be built so how about a very long range mail-plane. Lots of fuel with three engines to climb out and run at high speed, or one or two switched off to extend range. The extra power would be good at altitude. That would work in civil or military markings too.

Thanks to dream with me <_<
With a little glue, the models are well advanced, I let them dry then I will continue.

As I have chosen not to install propeller blades (as a glider? or powered byThe Force?), there is no more to avoid intermeshing propellers and that provides freedom for adjustment of previous ideas: <_<

To cut the clean P-51 fuselages, I needed to glue the wing (including bottom of fuselage), and I added also putty where tailplanes will not be (port and starboard on one P-51, port only on the other one):

Four cutting prepared the A-3 while the C-2 is taking shape (just remaining PSR, or just sanding?, and paint): <_<

And here is an update of what could be built with the remaining parts after A-3 & C-2. Only one possibiliy will be built: <_<

Ahem, concerning the XP-3851A-3 (bottom), the central fuselage is angled obliquely which is very weird. There are 2 possible explanations:
A/ (plausible, uncomfortable) I am a bad modeller
B/ (comfortable, not plausible) this was designed this way for antitorque reason, the 3,000hp central engine producing a dangerous torque if fully longitudinal...

There will remain only the 3rd model with the rest among the 3 possibilities -4/-5/-6...
