Ooooh, clever stuff!

Are they individual LEDs or a strip of them under the deck?

Once the hull has been clear coated and  polished, the next thing will be to install the interior lighting.  Are you guys interested in seeing the whole process or just the final result?

PR19_Kit

All the bits and pieces and how they fit together please.

The engines are done and ready to be assembled - a task I shall be doing this weekend

Those are the Arneson Drive units, a type of super-cavitating propeller surface-piercing drive.

Again more Si Magic... well done sir

Madhatter

Thanks guys
Jon, I've seen pics of what they are but what Revell have supplied are just normal looking props and nothing really like your picture. Apparently,  those drives are meant to be like the bees knees of private marine propulsion.

PR19_Kit

Odd that Revell don't mould the SD props, the drive wouldn't be anywhere near as efficient with just a standard prop.

Perhaps it's a licencing issue?

Gondor

Looks a simple enough blade shape to reproduce, probably not in actual practice though. I flat back and an arc .... getting the pitch right in respect to how much of a semi-circle you need would be the difficult part I woould think, but them I am simply looking at a picture and don't have the plastic in my hand to see how difficult it would be  :-\
