Boy this silver paint stays tacky for a long time! Stays soft to the touch. I'll just let it sit for a week and see.

I test sprayed the white I'm going to use over the silver paint. A little fishy on the test piece but if I spray light coats I think it will work.

I've been gone the last two days and the silver paint seems much better. I'll give it a few more days and check again.

Glad to hear that ..sliver is a right bugger to paint and i hate it..you can spend a crap load on the expensive stuff but thats only worth it is ya paint alot of sliver models which i dont 
Oh heres one for ya ..i used the Ammo brand sliver and aluminum paints with no issues at all and its cheap ..well here anyway

I took a quick look just now and availability of AMMO brand appears to be no problem. Looks to be worth a try. I have a 1/64th B-58 that will need NMF. I'll need that blueish tint for around the engine exhaust.

Ammo do all that sort of paint..exhaust colour just for that sort of thing and a heap of aircraft colours..fact over 300 colours to play with bud and the oils Ammo does are awesome and super easy to use and the results are brilliant .
The M88/M1 ARV im nearly done with is painted entirely Ammo..washes..oils..mud effects are entirely Ammo.
