Plan C would be to make something up - WW2 style white tail?

Commemorative/anniversary scheme ?

I should have done this ages ago, and Fred could have done it even earlier.  ;D

IT'S STARTED!

So get building guys.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I find myself wishing Colin would sell a set of 6-8 of his BAC Sabre anti-tank missiles from his great Hawk T.2 set.

I have the four from the Hawk set and am thinking a RAuxAf Cold War Tank Killer Hunter c.1983 with a laser nose. But it would look better with 6-8 missiles than 4.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

So with two Lightning builds now underway I'm wrestling with two Canberra-themed whiffery ideas.  The plan had been to build an EE P.28, but I'm being tempted by the idea of a Canberra/Dominie mashup utilising a Freightdog Dominie radar trainer nose conversion to produce an alternative to the Canberra T.17.

The Martin B-57 'Combat Transport' is discussed at https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=12045.msg925548#msg925548, including my own comment regarding the use of a Jetstream rather than a Dominie.  Now I've two Dominies in the stash (one down for whiffing anyway) but only one Jetstream.  And really I don't need to be shelling out on a second Jetstream!

Canberra/Dominie mashup is really tempting, however a third build for this GB must only be started when the Lightnings are well and truly on the way to completion.

no idea on building this, but Mrs SP has just asked what weapons would you put on a Canberra to have it oppose lightnings??
after all it will then be a lightning hunter, Canberra.
:banghead:  its all semantics's, but made us smile   ;D

take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

There's an interesting photo of a Hunter done up like a Sukhoi SU-17 in the latest Air-Britain Aviation World issue.

Two weeks to go.

You may start bidding for extensions now.  Be generous, both Chris and I have expensive styrene habits to support and Kit still has a ceiling to patch.

A suggestion for how Kit can patch his bathroom ceiling. Paper mache using kit boxes! Loads of fun to make up a suitable thickness of sheet to fill the hole with and hours of fun for relatives when they come to clear the lost as nothing will be in a box  ;D

Does that count as enough to get an extension?
