Yes, the rules do say 'local time' so you were fine starting work when you did Tophe.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I am sure I will not draw 36 versions before this one but this Mk.38 code was involved in a judiciary issue between English Electric and Lockheed about the Lightning™ name... :-\ ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thanks!
Of course, among EE Twin-Lightnings there were also simple two-seaters like the Twin-Mustang, as shown on this photographic "proof": ;)

Among Twin Lightnings, there was also a toon couple of Siamese twin sisters, with 4 eyes, not only 2 noses: <_<

As well, the standard Twin (Mk.1?) had too many radars with 2 copies, and that directed to an asymmetric layout:-\
The Very Long Range Mk.3 even replaced the 2 jets in the port fuselage by kerosene tanks. But landing was rather dangerous due to weight unbalance... ;)

A slightly different version with high wing and reduced weight: <_<

This Twin-Lightning version is the (supersonic) (Royal) "Air Force 1" (sold as supersonic biz-jet on the civilian market): <_<

Ahem, "a Lightning with two propellers must be a Lockheed P-38, not English Electric at all!", well this may be true in RW but RC modellers are used to replace jet engines (complicated to handle and requiring kerosene) with electric propellers, even for the English Electric Lightning: <_<

another Twin-Lightning RC model, flyable, involved a different engine layout, for an unknown reason being push-pull: <_<

Maybe the reason was: not to commit the heresy to change the typical Lightning noses, but putting the propellers elsewhere. (To be confirmed by investigation)

Among Twin-Lightnings with VG wings, there was also a version with lateral air intakes: <_<

Among Twin-Lightnings with 4 pilots/eyes, there were not only VG ones and cartoon ones but also classical ones (T.55): <_<

EDIT: I mixed words, as a twin-fuselage two-seater has normally 2 pilots thus 4 eyes like the cartoon one, here are 4 pairs of eyes which is different, like the VG one with lateral air intakes

The next one is not completely a Twin-Lightning but featured a double nose anyway: <_<
