Single-engined Canberras

The title and first posts  are making me think of a scaleoramed "thing" with 1/72 Vampire tails and engine, and forward 1/100 or thereabout Canberra fuselage (or 1/48 and 1/72)

Revell's Martin B57B is 80th scale, if that's any help.

For me, this will be just drawings, not plastic models, I can do any scale of the components. While... if someone is interested to do it in plastic, that may be useful, thanks! (and I would vote for him/her, not for myself I would add "drawing" in the title of this topic here)

Often given as 1/85. yes, I have most issues of it. Or I could stay with 1/72 as in the sample,with an old Matchbox and an Italeri 1/48 TR-1A.

Would it look like the Lockheed U-2 with Canberra wings?

An U-2 with Canberra wings (the part outside the engines) would look more or less like a F-104, with a much fatter wing profile...
The opposite would be more interesting (1/72 Canberra with 1/48 U-2 wings):

July has started now (on this side of the planet) so I may start.
Later, I will make a vector drawing of slanting view, allowing many many different shapes, while for a start I may play more easily with bitmap photo editing of top view.

I then thought about putting both engines on the same side, shortening the other wing (sorry Kit) discarding one tailplane while lengthening the other.

I like this Tophe.  How does it look with the single tai on the same side as the engines?
