3)  You may build, draw or write as many entries as you like (good luck!).
Well, I made a topic about Lightning pictures, 2 about Canberra drawings, was I refusing to take into account the Hunter?
Ahem, no of course. I will play with it (or play with her) too, I accept smilingly, even if I am not sure to draw a special vector drawing for this, just making photo editing as easy step. <_<

I was hopeing this would be able to go after The Proclaimers for the most infectious song ever  :banghead:

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Uh? Google/Wikipedia tell me that "The Proclaimers" are a group of rock music in Scotland with two twin brothers. And with YouTube I hear today their song "I'm gonna be", not very pleasant to my taste, sorry, but the brothers are very much looking like each other, yes.

Anyway, here is a first step into Twin-Hunter (sisters?) as double two-seaters:

The "true" 4-seat Twin-Hunter was different from the drawing board, a little: <_<

Of course, more famous was the 2-seat Twin-Hunter, almost "normal" a plane: <_<

The Twin-Hunter was also a huge success on the export market. Here one in an airshow above the Alp mountains: <_<

The Twin-Hunter first flight occurred in 1951, 2 months and 2 days after the single Hunter, and in 2022 now most Twin-Hunters are retired, standing in museums rather than in air bases (here a Mk.33 for tourists): <_<

Between the black silhouette and the photograph (of Twin-Hunter), there is the detailed top view: <_<

A version of Twin-Hunter was proposed, like a P-38; with a central engineless pod and lateral booms with engines: <_<

also a pair of "Boom bags"...  ;D
Uh? At first sight, I thought I was reading "a pair of booms", twin-boom layout (yes! ). But no, boom is also the sound of an explosion, or sonic barrier, this will be something else than the dream of mine. Maybe I will draw my interpretation as a joke, but the plastic model of yours will be THE subject here, of course. Sorry for my misreading. <_<
Here is the "actual" twin-boom Hunter, at last: <_<

Hmmm, thoughts of a Hunter mixed with a Sea Vixen come to mind.............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Here you are: ;)

Thanks!
(the scale is 1/300 from the Hunter source, the Sea-Vixen source 1/270 having been scaled down by 10% to match)

I have checked Wikipedia page about the Hunter and there is a big mistake it seems:
They say only 1,930 Hunters have been built, including 1,470 F Hunters (F.1 to F.6) the other ones being T Hunters.
But... what about the 554 copies of Hunter F111?

= link http://www.kristofmeunier.fr/r_hunter-f111.jpg
(Well, in the 1960s, those F111 were pretended to be American planes made by General Dynamics but, now, the cold war is finished and we may say publically they were Hawker Hunters, no?) ;) ;D
