The KM-4A Vertolet is almost done.  I went with white and red after seeing a Mil Mi-1 is a similar scheme.

Removing the masks off the windows peeled some paint and one of the windows popped out, but the damage is minor. Both the rotors and the tail section are just held in place. The tail section is sturdy enough that I won't have to glue it on:





Next up is fixing some of the paint issues, repair the side window, add the exhaust and some bits to both the main body and the tail section. I think I'll keep the weathering to a minimum.

Gondor is right Frank..now its painted i see it to..to me it looks like a prototype for a new soviet chopper but it didnt win..beaten by say ..a Mil1 or 2 ..its got simlier lines to those.
As for the paint 
I like the layout and design ..very nice indeed matey

Thanks, guys. I added an exhaust port to the right side and fixed some of the peeled off paint. The date code on the tail was a failed decal print, but it looked interesting so I used it. I've been tempted to add a rotor guard... but this being an early Russian design, they probably didn't care for human safety factors.

I added one of the Aerosan's lights to act as a spotlight. I also added a pitot tube where the original headlight would have gone:



Getting ready to transport important supplies. I added a small radio antenna and braced the rear skid:



I cut the damaged front left window in half and slid the front half back - it can be seen just over the 2. The helicopter is carrying very important cargo in addition to the supplies in the box... vodka (or beer):



Next up is the NKL-6 aerosan. I may deviate slightly from the planned helicopter.
