Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

We won't need one. JB's in Scotland, which is North of Telford, and North is toward the main entrance of the show. Simples.  ;D

You know, I actually checked that. And if we are in the same spot as last year in Hall 2 and raise our glasses towards the IPMS gate area, we are pretty much looking in the direction of Prestwick.

We could even do a live Zoom call at a suitable time and share it with Jim and all those who can't be there - but before we open the second bottle  :drink:

That is a very good idea Nick.

I'll not be present at SMW 2022 during Sunday lunchtime as my presence has been commanded at RAF Shawbury's Mess for Sunday lunch!  :o

As a result I'll appear on the stand on the Sunday in 'Smart Gear', MOST unlike me normally, and I've even got a New Hat to go with the ensemble!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit id never say you were scruffy when you were at the show,  but it must be a top table affair to need a new hat  ;)

at the moment it look good for me to be around, wile im still sniffing a coughing, the 5th day day has shown negative for covid,  I need 2 consecutive days clear to be able to return to work.

Good! not so far from the roller shutter doors to the carpark.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Afternoon all,

Taking Kitbasher's lead, below is my list of kits that I would have brought to Telford on Saturday for Kitswapping.  Also like Kitbasher, I'm only up on the Saturday as my pink chit expires that evening.

Happy to haggle and do deals, in the approved family manner.  Just let me know what you're after, and I'll put it on one side for collection.

Occidental Harvard    1/48    £20
Italeri Longbow Apache AH64D  1/72  £5
Airfix Vickers Valiant BK Mk1  1/72  £50
Airfix Vickers Valiant B(PR)K Mk1/B(K)MK1 Conversion kit  1/72  £5
Special Hobby    Hughes TH-55A  1/72  £20 (No box)
Hasegawa F35B Lightning II 1/72  £25 each (2 available)
Welsh Models    E7A Wedgetail    1/72      £80  (Vacuuform parts have been cut from sheet, but all there)
Frog    Sea Venom 1/72  £10 for 2 Kits (No boxes)
Special Hobby    U2S / ER2  1/72  £20
Anigrand    Lockheed XB-30 Constellation  1/144  £70
Fantastic Plastic Vickers Type C Giant Bomber  1/144 £70
Revell A10  1/144  £3
Dragon Tornado F3  1/144  £5 (2 kits in box)

I've also got a Merit Hunter of unknown scale, for which I'm open to offers (including giving it away to a worthy recipient in exchange for a suitable Hunter-related anecdote).

And finally....

I've also got some aviation books that I'm looking to pass on in exchange for filthy lucre that I can reinvest in the hobby.  I'll set up a separate thread in the Sales & Wants shortly, and I'll post the link in this SMW thread when I have done so.  Again, I can bring anything  up to Telford on Sat.

TTFN.
