Thanks for the photos

I'll hold my hand up to being partly responsible for that. Great to see so many digital designs turned into reality

Second that.

Thanks for sharing.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Only five entries in competition Class 32 (Mushroom Models Trophy) this year.  I must make the effort for 2023 (use it or lose it), it's been years since I entered.

I'm inclined to agree.

This happens every few years, the numbers of Mushroom entries declines, and then we say 'The hell with that' and the  next year it's SWAMPED!.

Then the cycle starts all over again.

It was good to be able to attend again, and to meet new people (Dominic and Ryan). Tomorrow I'm off to the Avro Heritage museum to have a look at their archives.

It was good to see YOU again Harro!

So many non-UK modellers couldn't make it.

And you Harro.  It's always great to put a face to a name!

I got back from Telford at 7pm last night after my usual day of sightseeing. The show was more tiring than usual and I swear that concrete floor gets harder every year!

I bought a good amount of stuff but mostly decals and paints and only 1 kit. I'll publish a full list in due course.

It was great to see everyone again.

Some more pictures. The "War of the Worlds" was fun, but the Lancaster was stunning ("Darling. Great show lads and good to see everyone again. I must admit I do tend to agree re the floors and the fact that they do seem to get harder every year  :-\
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Quote from: Accidental Loggie on November 07, 2022, 10:45:57 AMTop of my shopping list this weekend is a couple more 72nd Airfix Lightning F2As - or possibly F6s - to fuel my next-but-one wave of lunacy.

You'll be lucky!

I've been trying to find either or both for weeks no, and failed. Even the F2 starter kits seem to have vanished. :-(

Try Kingkit. They have three of the starter set Lightning F2A in stock now for a mere 16 notes each.

Over the weekend, I didn't see any Airfix Lightnings at all bar the ye olde tooling, in both it's F1A and F3 guises. Even Trumpeter ones were thin on the ground. Uncle Albert's jumble sale had a pair of Matchbox T55s but at 25 notes each, I had strong advice re sex, travel and his mother.

Thanks for that Lee.

I didn't see any at Telford either, but I only had one day looking.

Re F2As - I managed to add 3 to my stash: 2 preordered from Hannants + 1 from one of the other mix'n'match stalls.  Happy Bunny  <_<

One stall I missed this year was the second hand stall with the northern lads in pinnies. Were they there in another spot?
