The parcel arrived in advance today, and (oh joy!) this is good old plastic like Revell/Airfix/...
I don't know why this brand is not famous.

I don't know why this brand is not famous.

On the back of the box is presented a whole collection of 11 models (with this one, that makes 12): Boeing 747, E-3, Airbus 340... all 1/300.

Surprisingly, the brand name was not appearing on the box cover, maybe hidden by the sticker from the seller (or its furnisher). Why?
The side of the box tells it all:
- yes the brand name is confirmed as Zhengdefu (sounding in French as "Zheng de fou", more or less: "something-Chinese of crazy one")
- yes, it is made in China, which has a bad quality reputation
So, I understand (a little) why it was hidden, but I don't regret at all to have bought it, second hand. Good opportunity!

Here are the parts I plan to use. An undercarriage is available but I will not use it as always (since I have come back into model making; 2005)

Before any assembling of parts, coloring inside the jet intakes, as this will be impossible after assembling and I don't want that to stay dirty white on the finshed model (ahem: that would be very whif but too much, even for me)...

Then starting to assemble (and this will be the last step for today, letting the glue dry up).
At first sight the parts were looking like Airfix "Quick-n-easy without glue" (like Lego technology) but the parts were not solidly together, mostly the top of the fin, so I added glue more normally.

Truncation scheduled for tomorrow or Saturday, the result may be a single-seater 1/72, I have not decided yet:

I don't know why this brand is not famous.

Searching again with Google, the Zhengderfu seems a rather big manufacturer of kits nowadays, but not anymore of these 1/300 airliners, more 1/48 or 1/72 jet fighters in China and Russia and USA.
Even if not registered among Manufacturers at Hannants.

Uh, I know PR19_Kit celebrates longer wings and he does great things in that way. He is the best, I am not a competitor at all.
Simply, for other reasons, looking for cuteness rather than elegance, I am doing the opposite; decreasing span strongly. And I did for this model:
