Seconded

Thirded.  Any more pics of the parts?
Only this one.

I'd like to have a picture of the parts assembled but it's not possible as the fit is so tight it would damage the masters to put them together. This is because you have to allow for shrinkage, once cast the bits will fit better.

I'll definitely be down for a Mustard as soon as they hit the website (I doubt it'll be at Telford).

I snagged three of S&M's full-sized Mustards so this will go nicely.

Damn! that does look nice Colin
What are the chances of getting a couple of sets of the paddle blades ? I've got two Wyvern prototypes in the build process that had those, the Clyde powered one and an Eagle powered one. Photos of them in the 4+ Publications book on the Wyvern.

Ooh yes, Wyvern Eagle and Clyde conversions for the Trumpeter kit would be nice for 2023.  Or even the FROG kit.

Actually kitbasher, you need the CMR Wyvern TF.1 kit. There's too much to change on the Wyvern S.4 kits, they're quite a bit different.  The Clyde and the mid engine option, the P.10 were both options using the prototype TF.1 which had much smaller tail surfaces and other details.

The blue one here is converted from a TF.1 kit, the grey one from a S.4 kit.

Dave, I've a mould for a TF1 based on the old Maintrack conversion, which GT the shape of the cowling wrong. I can run one off for you?

That looks very, very tempting; particularly if it comes with the KP parts to make the aircraft.

A small update on progress for Scale Modelworld, the Eagle Tempest is with the caster in the UK, so looks on track for the show. The Mustard is not doing so well, although the kit masters are safely with CMR, unfortunately the same can't be said for the canopy master which is currently stuck in Czech customs. The joys of Brexit, the unwanted gift that just keeps giving.....

Let's hope it gets through soon, I'm not holding my breath though.

Another small update, hopefully a bit more positive. I have two samples of the Eagle set on route so I can start writing up the instructions for this, so on track now. Good news on the canopy master, it has finally arrived with Rob Taurus and Robert will do his best to get me some in time for Telford.

Today I'm going to start drawing up the profiles for the Mustard, this may or may not go to plan as I'm still a bit of a virgin when it comes to side views drawn from scratch.

I will post some pictures as I hopefully progress. If you don't see any then you can gauge how well it is or isn't going!

After a lot of trial and error I have the makings of a profile. Might add more surface detail to match the kit, but I need to have a casting to do that.

I've not a fan of the yellow scheme but it is an easy one to start with.
