Samples of the Eagle Tempest have arrived, all good and going into production now. I've haven't fully decided how the set will be sold, I will sell some as a bundle with the KP donor kit, but will also have some conversions for sale on their own for SIG members, for those who have a kit, but I might not offer to the wider public like that.

Hopefully I can start building one up next week, and get the instructions written up. Having said that, looking at the parts I think most could work out how it goes together without any instructions, although the front and rear contra-prop blades might fox a few out there.

Colin, I will take two from you without the KP kit as I have half a dozen of them already, the second one just might find itself attached to an Airfix kit, just because I like that kit and it gives options to people how it is used if they know it can be done.

I'll definitely be after a couple Colin.

I would be interested in a couple as well if that's possible. Thanks  ;D
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

A few days off from the day job, so trying to get on with Telford preparations. Mustard decals are in the post so I need to progress with the plan view, still a work in progress but here is where I'm at after a few hours.

Still details to add, but I'm happy with the shape. Plan view has been easier to draw they the profile so far, certainly looks better from above than from the side!

In with the Mustard decals is a sheet for another new release, a Post-War boxing of the Supermarine 327, taking it into the 1950's. A couple of new resin parts have been added, these are done so once I've drawn up the new profiles this release will be ready for the show.

I will offer the new decals and parts separately to SIG members, for those who have a 327 in the stash already.

Thanks,

Colin

That's making me want to order both the original and the modifed 327 kits, will both be available?

Great stuff, no problem Wooksta! I'll put one of each aside.

327 sounds interesting

I still have some bad dreams over the Unicraft one and that was some 7 or so years ago.

Unicraft always gives me the shivers, hence my crusade to try and stop people failing into the trap of buying his stuff.

I know what you mean Lee, but every now and then I feel the need to pay penance for my sins  ;)

Bit of an update, decals have arrived from Fantasy printshop earlier this week. CMR have confirmed my castings are ready, they are waiting for Rob Taurus to send them the canopies before shipping to me via DHL.

So a bit of progress, don't actually know which castings CMR have ready, they have a few of my masters! At least it looks like the Mustards are cast up.

Thanks, Colin
