Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The 1/12 Boy Scout was an actual Airfix kit (albeit short lived).  The Whiff in this case is the addition of the Vintage Classics logo.

Special Hobby makes a 1/48 X-15.  But does someone do X-24, M2-F2, or HL-10?

"Detailed bomb bay" Matchbox kits often didn't have even the Trenchdigger's Maginot Line for the bomb bay - underfuselage detailing was apparently deemed mostly unnecessary if the kit was built wheels down and sat on a shelf. (A-20 Havoc, I'm looking at you. F-101 Voodoo, you're not much better.) Then when you had bomb bay doors, that was literally it, they did not have any detail on the insides of the doors (cf. Lanc; yes, having details on both sides of the doors would have been difficult with the technology of the time, but they could have detailed the inner side and leave the outer side smooth, which it was anyway...).

Someone did a 1/18 Bell X-1 once... imagine the size of the mothership for that one?  :o

The Wooksta!

Matchbox apparently had to talk to Airfix when they did the Victor, as they had no experience at that time of doing kits that big.

Hah! Now that's a REAL Whiff!  ;D

How would M'box's famed 'multi-colour moulding' work with an aircraft that was all WHITE?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The wheels, undercarriage and exhaust area could be on a metallic grey sprue ? ;D
