Also known as HVX.  This was announced in July, a collaboration between Reaction Engines, Rolls Royce, the RAF and government departments to produce a hypersonic research aircraft.

It's quite reminiscent of the HS APD 1019E2, covered in the BSP Hypersonics and Mustard volumes.

Interesting configuration for a hyperspeed vehicle. All ramjet design I am aware of had rather short intake ducts, resulting in more or less free-standing engine compartments. Such a long duct is new to me.
