It occurs to me that my RAF Stalwart (build thread here https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=51075.msg979467#msg979467) could be a candidate for this GB. a) It's a Whiff, the RAF Stollies didn't have the cranes on the back and b) It's definitely logisitic!

May I enter it at this atage please?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit,

I'll take your word for it if you say that it's a whif. I'm no crane expert.....
And it looks like you started it after the start of the group build.
And the Stalwart qualifies as a transport truck.
So I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be allowed in.

There is no rule that states that builds have to be declared as part of the GB from the start.

HAPPY NEW YEAR BOYS AND GIRLS!

Which doesn't just mean a day off work, a hangover from too much electric soup last night, or remembering you need to get a new calendar/diary.

No.

It means we're in the last month of the Logistics Group Build 😱😱😱

So here's to your creative juices pumping through your systems in good time to post up completed builds ahead of the deadline.

And yes, it is too soon to ask.

I had plans for a third project that had been lingering on my agenda for a long time, but family affairs suck my mojo and I won't start it in a hurry for poor results and personal pressure. Two works must suffice for this GB.

Just a kind reminder to make sure that your finished build are put in the "Finished Entries" thread before the end of the group build.

Only builds in this thread will be entered in the vote!

Oooh, so the end date has been stretched as well as my model.   ;D

There's hope yet, thanks so much gentlemen.

Dear Academy,

Please, accept my humble apologies to request for an extension. The four models I've planned for this GB are close to completion (preparations for paint job almost finished). The Budd Conestoga is to be finished in bare metal finish and this means a flawless prep job and takes a lot of time. Decals are all prepared.

Please, please, please.......

Dearest regards,
David aka 63cpe

Dear David,
First of all, your request was not accompanied by any pecuniary compensations, so normally we would be forced to disregard it completely.

Secondly, the Academy organises the whiffies and not the group builds.
The moderators of the group build are the ones deciding on extensions and the like.
Luckily for you am both the General Secretary of the Ruling Committee of the Academy and one of the moderators of this group build.

Thirdly, you missed the earlier announcement of the extension for this group build:

QuoteAfter receiving the usual requests and after a long an strenuous discussion, the moderators decided to extend this group build by two weeks.
This means that the GB will end on 23:59 Tuesday (wherever you might be) 14th of February 2023.

The moderators (Dave & Tom)

So you have another two weeks to finish.

And no, we will not grant another extension  ;D  ;D

Ah, great. Thank you general secretary of the high command in charge of the Logistics GB..

I wasn't aware the extension was already requested and granted..anyway, a big sigh of relief...

Thank you,
