1950s plans for a cross-channel car ferry helicopter for Silver City Airways.
Not sure if this qualifies in it's original form since it's a civilian "passenger" vehicle, but you could easily adapt it to freight or military use...

It carries cars as well as passengers therefore it's allowed.

As I said at the time 'A cracking aeroplane, and it's got to be dead easy to scratchbuild, after all it's a box with wings!'

I might just do that too. 

You could re-arrange a Skyvan or Do.28 to get something like a bigger version.

I had this one on my maybe sometime  backstory list, but I will happily defer to you as the  senior Whiffmeister present if you already have this one in your sights!!

I haven't really, but back when it was featured it seemed an 'obvious' build, even though it's not actually Whiff.

Unless it had longer wings and/or fuselage of course.....................
