A move has been made and the move can not be unmade ..it's all go now Dave  ;D
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

I beleive that I am correct in saying that on the other side of those sink marks are pin and socket joints to align the fuselage halfs. A fairly common occurrance in a lot of older kits.

Coming along really well, Dave.
And an extra set of wings (smaller though they may be) will help a tad with extra lift.

Wardukw

I don't know who designed that but I'm sure those wings are to small for a fuselage that big

Looks like it was designed by The AntiKit...

Good work so far Dave.  Any thoughts to some form of doors to reduce drag once the fighter has been jettisoned?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

What about a big inflatable bag to fill the vacated space?

Maybe it could sit on the P-80's landing gear when on the ground. ;)
