Don't know the name of the ship , and not shure about the build of it .
It is very large , heavy kit with all stuff for the authentic Rig .

You cannot view this attachment.

I think the name of the ship is on the side of the box. Any chance of a picture of that?

The boxtop text says "History of the domestic fleet.  Sailing ships issue 2".

I like the box art.  Puts me in mind of a tattoo for some reason.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Liberated the following from Uncle Frank earlier:

Zvezda Focke Wulf Fw 190A-4 - going Spanish in a 70/71/65 scheme.
Bronco Blohm und Voss Bv P.178 - going RAF captured, but unsure if it'll be a service example or a captured prototype discovered when we captured Hamburg.

And Willie passed me an Airmodel Fw 191. It's one of the later kits when  the company was the Frank-Modellbau and the production was done by the dudes who later became MPM. Some resin parts in it but the canopy has vanished. An email to the guy who currently owns Airmodel could be in order.  Or CMK, as they do a resin one.

Looks like an FW version of a Ju 288, very smart.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The Wooksta!

They were designed to the same Bomber B requirement.

The BFO bomb in the P.178 is put aside for your 588.

From the Glasgow Modelfest today

1 x 1/72 Special Hobby SH 72395 F-84F Thunderstreak 'US Swept-wing Thunder' well that's what is says on the box. Obviously going to be released several times over with different decals for diferent operators as there is almost a whole sprue of spare parts in the box, looks very nice though.

Got home from the show to find an envelope from Jadlamracing and containing

2 x 1/72 eduard Zoom SS257 TSR2 for Airfix pre painted etch set. Because I don't have etch for all the TSR.2's I have.

Does it have bits for the RF-84F Thunderflash too, with the recce nose and side intakes?

In a word No

Sprue's A and B would have to completly new as A has the fuselage, one peice each side, and B has the wings, tops and bottoms of each as individual pieces.

You will have to do with the old Italeri kit for now Kit.

I've got one of the Italeri Thunderflashes.  I hope to convert it into a Thnuderscreech one day.

Just realised I have a Planet kit in the stash, unfortunately it only has one set of clear parts. However if all else fails you might be able to copy them ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Ah well, I can always hope. Thanks for confirming it Alastair.

Maybe kitbashing the two kits would work? I've got 2-3 of the Italeri ones in The Loft already, one half converted into an RF-84K to hang under any handy B-36 that happens by......

That's not to say that they won't do one.
