The Wooksta!

Second hand Novo ones seem to be about a tenner on eBay, which is reasonable for what is still an accurate kit.

Just looked on Ebay and someone is trying to sell one as Brand New for 27 quid?? They need to have a sit down somewhere quiet, and have a reet good think about that, plus they were probably brand new around 50 years ago.

Actually, having checked after posting, available examples seem to be somewhat more pricey, but I have seen them around for a tenner.

How the Hell did you remember the knife blades with all that lot being piled up into your arms?

The retailer put them between his teeth to hold  ;D

I've seen those packs of "Dolls House Wood" before at a t toy/model fair, but what's the lead foil for ? I'm intrigued.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Not my first time there of course, but the place never ceases to AMAZE me just how huge it is. The aisles are 25+ yrds  long, and have racks to the 15 ft ceiling on BOTH sides of each aisle, and there's maybe 15 aisles, all STUFFED with plastic kits.

I've never been, do they let you wander the aisles unaccompanied ?

Yes, they really do!

You have to go through the Sales Admin Dept. to get in or out, so there's no way of smuggling anything past them. It's a truly MIND boggling experience, seeing the vast amount of kits all stashed up there. The place is so massive that when Dave Hannant, the original owner, was alive he kept a FULL SIZE Harrier GR3 in there, a real one!  :o

And that was as WELL as all the kits........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I remember seeing that Harrier back 20 years ago. I think it was one that crashed on a beach during an airshow and he bought the remains. Or am I confusing it with another?
There was also a 50 seat coach in there too.

I feel a road trip to Lowestoft coming on  ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Modelling the lead flashing around dolls house chimneys?  The packaging does say "fly-tying material"  so possibly to weight fishing line.
