Next one is started today , monday job was cancelled in the morning, so i got one day more free ( also just work 3 -4 days per week)  .

I got a bunch of 262's to do,  this will be another X Wing so i stay in this thread ..

First thing was to chop the fuselage, it is a bit wide i think , the wings should be done backwards so i cut out a lot underside to make it slim .

Check picture with the standard wing set, it is 6 mm smaller in the middle in 1:72 .

This is the first time i try miliput .

Also the engines were changed with that , good for construction .

Wings are ready, engines ok , body is together. Good result for the day one i think !

Murphy was here , that old bloddy f......r  :banghead:

Everything went very well , all parts ready for the big wedding , the complete plane is ready sanded with 1000 wet paper !

I build one wing double, so the shape between wing and fuselage was complete opposite WRONG 180° .

I have to fill up the gap with 2 layers of sheet ( i got only B class stuff from the very old MARUT Vacu Kit )  ,  but in the end it would be okay , just need one hour in full Speed work modus more and i hate mistakes like that .

I am not shure how long i can do that X Wing stuff , the fixing of the wings is always very difficult and you have to watch every side and angle again and again .

But this seems allright in the end , just place it in the Workshop on the very hot compressor for speed drying and went over to grill station get some fries and German sausage as reward for that stress .

Maybe a bit to much ,
but another planet, another taste

I hope that work will become better over the next years ,  but after all that stress it looks okay for the moment .  Still learning .

Like the paint.  That would also look good on a car or van.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
