Bloody tooth ache won't go away so hopefully the panadols will kick in soon and as a matter of fact scribing sucks 😐
Today has not been enjoyable in so many ways.
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Yeah, you and me both! I'm not looking forward to the MILES of scribing that the B-54.5 fuselage will need!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I'm glad it's done..the scribing on my build was pretty easy really..almost all the lines are on relatively flat surfaces.
Yours Kit is angle city and very very round  :o

Well still no pics of this thing but then again not a single thing has happened to this build..you guys know why but tomorrow that's gonna change.
Tomorrow painting will start..all the PSR is done..I hope..don't think I missed anything..I hope .
I did spend all day today painting today..ive been wanting to repaint the rims on my car since Friday last week..things changed but today they got did 🙃
Looking pretty good to so I'm happy now.
First colour will be sliver ..once dry the other metallic colours go on and then some black .
Then I realized I still have a ton of bombs and 2 drop tanks to paint aswell ..still work to go..gotta paint the cockpit to..damn this is getting more and more 🥺

Yeah I'm happy to be back at it..it sucks that everytime I went to do something with it complications always got in the way..today's no different..I have to go to town to pick up a couple of thing's and should attack it this afternoon...all going well that is 😊

Well here's a update for yah all ...crap :angry:

Sprayed it sliver and let it sit and I thought that all PSR was done..no ..not even close.. things I could see looked great then I started seeing the things which didn't including that right hand side winglit...the holes and gaps were filled nicely and even when I ran my finger across the putty it was smooth..not so when the paint hit it..the lines around the edge of the filling looked like 1in deep scratches and nothing was gonna hide that ..so putty time again ..it's outside right now drying .
And I'm also going to respray the entire thing ..it's ment to be chrome sliver but I don't have any I can spray without buggering my air brush...and so the battle continues gents.
Tell ya one thing..the next plane I paint which Nia going to be sliver ..wont be .

A friend of mine is planning to finish his B-58 that's been ready for paint for a long time in a Vietnam B-52 pattern with black undersides. Could save you some trouble.

Trust me buddy I have wanted that camo job but it's to late for this GB..it's the late 60s when that paint job was applied and it's annoying cause it would look so good in camo too 🙂

The plans I had for this today ended up going south at a rapid rate of knots ..ended up doing quite a few other things and I didn't touch a model today at all and now I've just finished a bloody large plate of curry sausages ..im bloody full now 😊
Off to Auckland tomorrow so now model stuff but ya never know what I'm gonna come home with :thumbsup:
