I still have a stalled kitbash from the 1980's so that's forty years.  ;D  I'm sure that there are others here that have older stalled builds. I didn't know about what-if at the time other than a SAM article which used parts of an F-4, Stuka and a Crusader tank turret, and that's just the bits I remember!  :o

That article might have been the triger for me thinking.... what if I did this.....

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Ten years isn't too bad. Just steady progress.

Kitbashing things to make a model of which there was no kit of at the time started me down the road to madness. Then making builds that just looked cool. I "customized" a P-40 with car parts a very long time ago.

That's where it all starts matey ....what if I did this ? ....or why can't I use this instead? ....then the fun or nightmare begins.
I doubt I'll ever build a OTB non wiffy model again ..it's just to sticking to the rules sort of deal ..has to be this way or it's not right ..JMNs can bite me.

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Just a thought, maybe some projects need to be passed on to someone who will complete it? Postage being an issue of course. It would be easier to send something to someone closer. Or exchange at a hobby show.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
