This really is a fascinating build and a good watch from my chair.

Some great 3D work. The best I have managed lately was a mount for my punch set so I dont lose the punched out discs and that was a rectangle with a small depression, your design work is stellar.

@buzzbomb : Most of the things I made with the 3D printer as as simple as you described. I think its a very good tool to make some things for the house, I could make some smaller replacement pars which you normally had to buy for quite some money.

But here we go with the Rebans:
More work has been made with installed all the force field machinery in the hangar deck:

The small space craft is getting painted:

Ah, now I suddenly grasp the fact that the small spacecraft is a single seater. Totally went by me  :banghead:

Some fantastic work

Well, there is only one pilot but in the cabin, there is more room for some Rebans.

We'll have to have a party when this is done. What do Rebans drink?   :drink:

After a short break, work continued on the Reban space ship. There are now two placed to build.

1) The Hangar:
Assembling and installation of all the force field generators continues. Most parts are now installed.

2) Construction tests for the upper engine torus:

A first test, if the engines fit into place

And a test if this fits to the rest of the engine torus. Looks good so far, so I think the construction is good and the whole thing can be printed. But I need some more filament first.

I'm fascinated by watching this come together. It's making me realise the possibilities behind 3D printing more and more

The word 'limitless' comes to mind....................  :o

If only I had even a weak grasp of CAD programs ... And a bigger budget.

Work continues on the hangar deck.

The outer hull is now printed and a snack machine has been added to the deck. But the walls have to be cleaned a bit.

The "crystal clear" resin is not really crystal clear. Too bad to the cockpit.  So I guess I have to switch to plan "B" for it. Ah yes, and some decals have been added.

I made so many tests for the Deck 5 and now that I printed the complete floor - it does not fit....  :banghead:    Less than 0.5 mm. Sanding is no option because the outer hull would then also not fit. So re-scale it and print it again....

Your persistence is to be commended sir, along with your skills

Testing the engine control room, with a Reban as size comparison.

Sometimes, you cannot  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:  enough. The second attempt to make the floor for deck 5 also fails. Too big again :(

But at least the third attempt worked. Hooray! This time with a fragment of the engine torus and this one also works.

And to test if the upper parts can be put on top of the engine torus: They can, testing it with the unfinished hangar deck.

And finally, the landing legs for the small space craft

My mind continues to be TOTALLY boggled over this build.  :o

It's AWESOME, and a cert for a Whiffie when one's due.
