After building some unknown variants of the Me 262 i start this , a complete Body was left after the X Wing .

I cut out a section in top include the Cockpit .

Put it Back turned 180° , fits nearly perfect.

Cut of the tail fin and close the small gap with putty.

So the tail is the front now, i like the shap very much, it could be a race car or a tank also .

Racecar.  Skinny fronts, big fat rears, and a gert big V8 sticking up out of the body in front of the driver.

I have the remains of a 1/48 262.  Thank you for the inspiration.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

GREAT idea Fred.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Many ideas, but than you have to pull the trigger and make it .  The straight wings came from a hellcat or something like that,  the engines original from another 262 , and the Droptank will be the home of the coming gun .
I always like to integrate the gun in the fuselage, but the shape is so nice, i don't wanna cut it out again .

And i have the colors found , it will become wheels and even the tail Fin is ready .  Looks like nearly ready in my head .
We went to Bielefeld over the Weekend , no more build till next week .

I can't help seeing a retro Naboo fighter from a Star Wars story before episode 1. Or an obsolete one in a later story. It will be cool whatever direction you go!

It went in another direction, i try to create something different.  By this time I am into the paint job, so there is not much to view of making the 4-5 layers    . Hard for me that waiting between them for drying.   I spent weekend time at the laptop,  drawing a  vector graphic of the Me262 elements as a help for coming construction and create a color scheme for the current projects .

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It is history ...
After the use in the 5.th continental war between A and B-Land  , the color seems a bit worn, just a station in the progress .

Got a scary effect today , first i got a primer on, standard i do all the time.

Than a old Chrome Effect from the work shop, maybe 10 years old .

Than glossy clear over that, as protection for the following aging .

Than the red spray , it is Acryl out of the can .

Today i tryed to make a washing , over the sanded red with brand new Tamya Acryl , it went hard just in the moment it touched the surface !!
I had to clean the brush very strong .

Chemical mystery .

Better stay some days for the next Work .

Also the last X Wing is in color now .

I found the bits.  I had forgotten that I had cut the tail off and used it in a kitbash.  There will still be a 1/25 vehicle based on what is left but it will not be as I earlier proposed.
When I get started i'll make a build thread.
