Sorry , no PROPS in my home .  But a nice suggestion, I got two mustangs in the stash , maybe I give them a chance 

Thus my suggestion of evolved, FJ-1, T-28 and Navion were all somewhat variations on a theme
of the P-51. In the case of the FSW Mustang perhaps they dump the piston engine and turbo-jet
mixed propulsion and go straight turbo-jet.


I often ponder how they'd get from A to B with somewhat real-world what-ifs.

I have no problem with converting piston engines to jet power, there is always enough space, in my head    and in the fuselage too .
