Tojo, the rum loving monkey of Clonakilty

On the morning of April 7th 1943 a large strange machine appeared in the sky above Clonakilty in the south of Ireland. The USAAF B-17 had got lost on the way to England from North Africa and was rapidly running out of fuel.
On board were 36 bottles of rum, 11 airmen, and their pet monkey.
