Gloster Meteor V-Tail High Speed Recon, from Frog 1/72 kit. (tail fins Mig 21 KP kit again  ;D )

Wanted to try a quick build, nose, tail, swap on a Meteor (sorry forgot to take pre-paint pic but is same theory as killnoizer reverse 262 etc.....)

Looks a bit like an X-Wing without the X  ;D . Did an X-Wing Meteor a few years ago, with a standard configuration.

nice looking Bird  :thumbsup:   and it does look rather sci fi / space ship, so possibly more Dan Dare than others?
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

One of the best Meteors I've ever seen 👏
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Some JMN will tell you that the under wing serials are the wrong way round.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks for the very kind comments  :cheers:  Nose - tail swaps seem to give some interesting results, especially with pre-50s aircraft I would think :laugh:  :thumbsup:

Yep. Star Wars! I was envisioning it with the wings splitting down the middle, with a certain Funky Streetwalker piloting as Pink 5. ;)  :thumbsup:

Yes definitely, I was also thinking of a Mossie or Beaufighter, Me110, Me410....the list could be quite long  :o  ;D  :thumbsup:
