In 1942 the De Havilland company were asked to look at the possibility of putting jet engines on the Mosquito. Calculations showed, that it was not a good idea: A little more speed but a much shorter range. But what-if!

What I want to know is what are you going to do with the MOUNTAIN of Lightning fuselages you must have by now?  :-\

But the Mach 1 Mossie is BRILLIANT!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Mossie, great work. That would test the integrity of the glue on the plywood.  ;D

Tophe

The marketing department was happy to see the twin development, saying "it will be easy to sell, claiming "Mach 1+Mach 1= Mach 2 !" ;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
