In 1942 the De Havilland company were asked to look at the possibility of putting jet engines on the Mosquito. Calculations showed, that it was not a good idea: A little more speed but a much shorter range. But what-if!

What I want to know is what are you going to do with the MOUNTAIN of Lightning fuselages you must have by now?

I used 3 fuselages on the Lightning flying wing thing & had one set left over from my original Triple Lightning   hence all the wings left over    only one set left

It'll be fine , my grandad made the wings      I did hear somewhere the Germans had a problem with their glue though?
