Aliens fighter from the movie "Independence Day" in 1/72 scale by Lindberg - a model with four lives, but this one is probably last one 🙂 I bought it online, already painted,  probably 15 years ago in a deplorable state, renovated it as much as my skills then allowed and it stood like this for 12 years years, then I washed the paint down to clean plastic, and it stood naked and unhappy for three years. This year I decided to repaint, made a base, put on the electricity, added figures and accessories.
And I have it, somewhere in Area 51, in an underground hangar, a captured alien fighter is undergoing inspection after another test flight 😃
As I have already written, the model is from Lindberg, very pleasant to paint with the dry brush technique, figures and accessories are from Hasegawa. The lamps are built from scratch, only LED panels bought online. I am most pleased with the fact that I managed to run electricity through a miniature power generator on a base 🙂

Excellent.
I thought the figures looked familiar.
Do the yellow support legs come with the Lindberg kit?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Very impressive, really like the paint job on the alien craft.

Even more impressed with the working electricity

buzzbomb

Really, really nice.

The craft looks great and the overall Diorama is well thought through, the shape of the lights is spot on for the subject

One key element that personally I really like is working the light cables into the diorama, that is inspired

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
