I used Mig 29 wings.  Just to keep things in the family.

Ooooo!!  I do love a forward sweep!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

There were at least wind tunnel tests with such a configuration in real life.

Nice to see you back Ed!

Both of these look promising.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

We don't meet before , but I am with you at this build , looks very good !
F 104 G was a Daily view for me in the 70s in germany .

Would be nice to have two of the vintage 104 kits ,  to put the two undersides together  for a new fuselage .
It's a Land Rover, NOT a Jeep . Like a Jeep, but for gentlemen.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Several comments:

Fixed wings Flogger is an excellent idea.
Butterfly tail is just cool.
And last but not least, I love pilots molded with their seats.
Will die without understanding this world.

FINISHED

During the 60's as aircraft technology advanced rapidly, there were a number of unique aircraft developed.  One of these was the Lockheed F-112 Starfire.  It has the distinction of being the first (and so far, only) forward swept wing operational fighter.  It was primarily used as defense fighter and interceptor.  They remained in service with the National Guard until the late 80's.

Love this one. Great forward sweep and a classic fighter look to it.
