Yeah that looks great - just the sort of thing you'd see on a sci-fi novel cover or in a wargame - nice one.

I keep toying with the idea of either a GEV from Ogre or the Iron Cow from the Zone books. No.1736 on the list of ideas to do....

The Zone is a series of books written by James Rouch, set in a grim, stalemated WWIII some time in the late 1980s. The Iron Cow is a British HAPC (Hover Armoured Personnel Carrier), one of the few bits of invented hardware in the books. There's a head-on painting of it on the cover, but I've never seen anyone attempt a side view.

Ogre is a sci-fi tabletop wargame by Steve Jackson Games. One player has a conventional, but futuristic, force of tanks, SP guns, infantry and GEVs (Ground Effect Vehicles), that die with one hit, with which to defend his command post, while the other player has just one tank, but it's a giant cybernetic battleship-on-tracks with multiple guns, missiles and tread units, which has to be killed piece-by-piece. It's a really, good, playable (quick!) game, that's been around for decades and spawned serveral sequels, expansions and reboots.
