Well i've got the running gear on.  Now to build some tracks.

I also got a bit carried away and plumbed the fuel system with copper wire.  Not that it is particularly visible, but I know i did it.

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Tracks.   :banghead:

I thought I was being clever desprueing all the individual links before the GB started.
What I failed to realise is that the links are handed.  There is a tiny moulded pin head which is only present on the outside of the track run.
I only noticed this after gluing 20 or so links together and then actually reading the destructions.
 :banghead:
Well they can stay the way they are and the rest will be the right way round.  They are so tiny I doubt anyone will notice.
On the plus side they are moulded in silver-grey so I think I can get away without painting them.  They should come up nicely with some washes.

I may just sand the pin heads off once the links are glued into lengths.  Wouldn't take much.

Hans has got the tracks on.  Can't run it yet because it lacks steering levers, gear shift, velocity stacks and a cooling system.
But he did send me a photo...

I'm seeing that being used as a runabout in some holiday camp, probably Butlins given the scheme, sometime in the 50's and ferrying passengers from reception to their chalets  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
