I have build a Vintage Airfix MK.1 Tank ,  the same kit as i have done in the 70's with age of 10 or 11 ...

But today i think the original Design is to slim, so i widen the center body a bit .

It came right that just that day my first styrene sheets arrived by post . Was a real easy job, not perfect, but that's okay for me ...

First look please ,  started on tuesday , two days done.

Wings and engines will follow , also prepared ready to Install after the usual sanding at the front, and some guns and doors and stuff ...

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I need to put some color on ... RLM 70 , and some more Details and a place for a real big gun at the front .

Problem is on the chains ( also like some other tanks i have in Work ) , these rubber tracks are to short !
Maybe they shrink over the time ?  They are +30 years old .
What is the best way to stretch them a little bit ?

Try putting them in hot water ..that should soften them up but be careful..they could snap if you try to force em to much.
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
