They had me there for 'training' for my last job, but having found out I knew more than them about some of the company's products (I'd been using them as a customer for 7 yrs by then....) they didn't want to send me back to the UK.  ;D 

I lived there for 6 months or so, but went back 2-3 times a year for the next 30 yrs.

Actually there ARE some aspects of it that I'm not allowed to talk about. Even now............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yeah I still have that to Kit with some of our past ummm trips ?
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Well that is about it.
What if perhaps a Gas Turbine version of the Chieftain was developed and went on to be part of BAOR during the late 80's through to the 90's ?

Other than an Antenna or two, that got overlooked,  I am calling it.

I must say though, that the earlier BB chieftain on the right, was done a fair while ago using less information than is available today in books,
Hopefully you folks have enjoyed the Turbine Whine ride  ;)

the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
