Thanks to a German mate of mine I'm picking up a 48th Ju188 next week 😁
And then save some bickkies and buy another 88 of Bungle 😊
Then the thinking begins 

Many moons ago a good friend of mine bashed two 188's together to create something 488ish, from Italeri kits, IIRC:

Upper pic is the first incarnation, but it was not fully satisfying (odd fins, simple livery), so that it underwent a renovation (lower picture, WiP).

Damn I like both of those   
I do like the first one more than the second one..the tails look kinda cool.
I've been having a idea with mine ..but 😆...measurements need to be taken to see if a new layout for certain parts will work out

The tall tail was the original configuration, but it looked rather unbalanced so that the tips were clipped - IMHO a good move. Not certain if this build was ever finished, though.
