Time to show this one off.  Plenty to do still, but happy with it so far.

I like those tricky 'captured' roundels.

And do I see an MB5 in the background?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yes.  Really don't like the finish on it, another back of the cabinet job.  Just the unit codes to go on it, although I'm tempted with a cheeky whiff within a whiff.

The Huma Me 209A.  The fuselage has an odd profile aft of the cockpit,  slopes too quickly.  Still, looks good though.

Not sure about the port roundels, spacing looks out.  Still, it's in the field and Aircraftsman Clarke can get another fizzer from the senior NCO,  "Warrick" Hunt.

Went with post Jan 1945 2TAF roundels on the wings. The other two 109s will get normal ones.

Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
